TORONTO STAR, JANUARY 3 1958: "It is true that the parks department operates 58 natural ice rinks for skating and 23 for hockey - or will do so, if and when there is enough frost. For all the freezing weather we get here most winters, the department might as well spare the trouble and expense, and get on with the job of multiplying the number of artificial ice rinks."

Strengths: double pad, near a big high school so very accessible to youth
Areas for improvement: This rink lost points because of the rundown and dirty condition of the changeroom and washrooms. Also the staff room has no window and is unmarked. The path from the street was covered in ice and the hockey boards need a coat of paint
Next steps: install window in staff room, put sign on door. Clean and paint the rink house and the hockey boards. There are no other recommendations because CELOS visitors only went to this rink twice, and don’t know it well enough.
