RINK REPORT CARD: 2007-2008 |
Martingrove |
C |
400 Martin Grove Road. |
|
Phone number unavailable |
Strengths: Rink and change area are in good condition and well cared for, good old-fashioned arena design
Areas for improvement: : This rink lost points because of low public skating and shinny times. If the rink were only for permits, its score would be A-. In that case it should not be tax-supported. But current permit income is less than 50% cost.
Next steps: Make available more time in the evening and on weekends for public skating and shinny. Make helmets optional for shinny hockey. Have weekly family-skate and youth events to strengthen community use. Flyer schools and the neighborhood.
